Hi! My name is Rio, and I am a Mexican/Puerto Rican sculptor in Ohio. I specialize in creating "designer toys" which are self-produced, limited-edition sculptures for collecting purposes. All my prototypes are sculpted by hand in clay before molding, and casting in resin copies. I also create one-of-a-kind art dolls and larger projects such as statues. My goal is to show others that traditionally made sculptures are still alive!

All sculptures produced are handmade by myself. Prototypes are sculpted traditionally in clay before being molded in silicone so that I can produce resin copies. These copies are then cleaned and individually painted with acrylics and a brush!

Each art doll is one-of-a-kind and posable! They consist of individual clay parts on a wire armature before being covered in faux-fur.

In addition to small designer toys, I also create larger pieces such as statues and costumes.
